I read today an article that stated there are plot auctions being sold in Box Wood, Stevenage.

I think I speak for lots of people in Stevenage when I say this is really an area of natural beauty! The wild bluebells that grow in this woodland has been visited by many generations of families in Stevenage. There are also many Dear that live in these woods. I lived in Stevenage for over 20 years and the reduction I have seen in the forests and green spaces has been nothing short of frightening!! I really think we need to stand together as a community so that our children and grandchildren will have the opportunity to see these beautiful wonders of the natural world. 

I have created this petition in hope that enough people will add their signature so that we can put this to SBC to be stopped. And that the woodland be preserved as a nature reserve.
