i run a 0 risk buisness bikers ride alone with a helmet on to me they sit alone while i work alone then they ride back home alone no contact no risk at all but due to us being bikers police have stated they will fine bikers caught riding during lockdown even tho my company is essential maintenance they are prioritising money from fines over allowing small buisnesses to stay alive and not need to shut down or go bust while supporting pubs and restaurants etc which are very high risk places

i respect that police need to stop bikers to check their reason for riding in lockdown and i fully understand that but once given prof they are traveling for essential maintenance to be caried out with 0 risk with covid the police should allow them to continue but they are standing strong that they will fine my customers if they are caught traveling to me i have attempted to sort this speaking to police the goverment and the local mp but police are to dedicated to abusing their power to seek money from fines and run small businesses into the ground
