A great man was lost in this community. A father, a friend and a true inspiration to all. He died in a horrible accident  at our local transfer Station.  He was so excited about life. Obtain custody of his two young children, hanging out with his oldest daughter and grandchild. He was ready to start taking over the full-time position at  transfer Station when it was all brought to an abrupt stop by horrible industrial accident. We want to make sure he is remembered and his sacrifice does not get forgotten. We , the community of long lake are requesting a name change to the long lake transfer station to include this memorial of Steve.
