Open forest and national park for 4wd access in south Australia around Adelaide
There is very little 4wd tracks in south Australia to go to, Most people go to Victoria, Western Australia, new south Wales, Northern Territory and Queensland to do off-road driving but we have so many beautiful places here in south Australia? It could bring more people to our state and help tourist industry and local businesses and the south Australian government, as council could charge for permits to access roads or sites,. This would help south Australian people and children to get out into nature and see more of south Australia whilst bringing more jobs to the state as those sites and roads will need people to maintain tracks and said sites.
As a parent I'm saddened that I have to consistently leave SA if my family want to go explore tracks in 4wds so we don't have to walk for miles in different types of weather to have fun and spend time with our community and like minded SA families,. Please take into consideration that as a 4wd community with families, many of us understand responsibility of environmental and property damages, we can not control everyone but having a place and a choice to take our children and spend our money with and in our own community would be a great step into making SA a destination for campers with 4wd and the 4wd community.
Thank you for taking the time to read this as it was discussed on Facebook with many campers and 4wd community families who would like to go off road in SA and see our beautiful state, instead of leaving it every holiday as it doesn't offer what our families enjoy doing.
