All throughout this pandemic the arts and entertainment industry has been heavily hit by ongoing Covid restrictions, moreover the state of SA has had very low to no transmission of Covid cases in the community in the past couple of months. This petition is intended to reinstate dancing again and more broadly revive the arts and entertainment industries that have suffered so greatly due to this restriction. Looking at other states like Queensland and Western Australia both with very low Covid cases and community transmission similar to South Australia (but dancing is no longer restricted) we haven't seen cases spike.
