Keep the Cadbury's factory in New Zealand

As all of New Zealand has most likely heard, the worldwide confectionary producer, Mondelēz International, is closing down their chocolate factory Cadbury World in Dunedin.
Mondelēz is a multinational corporation that does not care about its staff or the damage it will do to my town, Dunedin, when they pull their factory out.
I have seen other petitions sent to high ranking members within Mondelēz asking for them to have a change of heart. This will not work. As a corporation, Mondelēz' only interest lies in money and power. It is cheaper for them to manufacture their products from Australia and ship it to New Zealand.
The only way for us to keep the factory open, is to make their plan more expensive than their current situation. Dunedin's economy will be dealt serious harm if they close this factory down, as it provides jobs to around 350 people, is a popular tourist attraction and let us not forget the chocolate carnival held every year that relies upon Cadbury World.
Its up to you as a New Zealander to get this message to the New Zealand government, in the hopes that they will look after their people and place tariffs on all imports from Cadbury's Australia.
