Within this past decade, there has been an increasing need for change in the way humans consume and use plastic. Plastic bags are taking over our beautiful blue oceans in places such as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Around 500 billion single-use plastic bags are terrorizing the oceans and wildlife worldwide. Ocean life are consuming micro plastics and end up washed up a shore deceased with heaps of plastic particles inside their stomachs. The amount of production it takes to make plastic products are also contributing to climate change. Join the movement. Inform the governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, and Nevada Senator, Jacky Rosen, that plastic is hurting Nevadan families. Put a ban on plastic bags on the state of Nevada and encourage the consumers and vendors to use reusable or biodegradable bags. In the United States, states such as California, New York, and Hawaii have implicated a tax on plastic bags. Tell Governor Sisolak  and Senator Jacky Rosen to do the same for the fate of Nevadan's clean and green future and "Put Nevada's Families First".
