The Mets should hire Wally Backman as the Manager of the Mets for many reasons. He has led minor league teams to season championships in the playoffs. Mets fans have suffered too long. Wally is a strict and tough man who puts his players to work really hard to win games. He gives very good speeches to motivate players to work hard and knows what he is doing. With Wally Backman being a player in the 1986 Mets, everyone believes he can lead the Mets to win the World Series. He has also great experience in the minor leagues with helping teams win division titles and league championships. Mets fans have suffered far too long and it’s time for the team to make a big change. Steve Cohen promised to turn the team around after purchasing it from the Wilpons. Not much change has happened since then. Hiring Wally Backman is one of the biggest changes Steve Cohen could do to make a big turnaround for the Mets!
