I have watched tenants collect certain while refusing to pay rent knowing they can't be evicted... know the ltb will side with the tenant.

Laws should be beneficial to both tenants and land lords, tenants are taking the advantage due to completely tenant beneficial one sided laws

I’m singing because my tenant just stoped paying rent even though she is on welfare . Plus their addiction and abuse problem and even though I called police and did my paperwork with LTB I had to wait for 3 months for hearing. In the meantime I am going through threat and abuse .
I need my safety back.

The Ontario Land Tenants Board should be changed. It has biased and unfair rules for Landlords.
Tenants are being encouraged by the government to behave badly. Some Tenants feel entitled to live rent free and know how to exploit the weak system to their best advantage. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE, government needs to change the system and be fair to small landlords.

Tentant came with an excuse that she has no food in the house. And she spent $3000 on groceries.

Disruptive tenants are unfairly using COVID-19 to take advantage of the eviction process and continuing to make life difficult to others in the building.
