This is an egregious example of landlord impunity.

I have seen many injustices in the housing area in my time, but this beats the band -- the developer should face legal proceedings and hopefully spend time in jail as well as paying what he owes to the Hester Street tenants

Unfair treatment and neglect to the building and tenants is an outrage. To fattened one's pockets at the expense of others by uprooting them and not providing relocation is wrong. I hope Mr Su will be slapped with hefty fines for every tenant whom he had not compensated. I'll also advise friends to boycott Wyndham Garden Hotels, especially on Bowery St which is an eyesore to begin with.
