Objection to the construction of Brethren Place of Worship in Harvest/Waterford Estate.

An application has been submitted to local council for a brethren place of worship to be built within a small family housing estate right in amongst residential homes and right at the entrance to the estate in full view of passing traffic.
Residents of this estate purchased their land and built their homes under the impression they would be living in a family orientated estate with children, pets, parks and playgrounds. Not adjoining a religious faction.
Not only will this devalue housing prices, but the influx of traffic into the estate will have consequences for children playing and riding their bikes. The local streets are small and designed for residential traffic only.
Objection to this building is simply for its location. Of all the available land in the Hunter/Maitland/Newcastle area there is no satisfactory reason for choosing a family housing estate.
Move the planned location 500m up the road where they can build it as big as they want and won’t impact a local community!
