IRFU should allow ULSTER to extend Ruan Pienaars contract.

The Irish Rugby Football Union have blocked the mutual agreement between Ulster Rugby and Ruan Pienaar to allow him to extend his current contract and continue playing at Ravenhill past the end of this current playing season.
We the undersigned are disappointed at the decision of the IRFU not to extend the contract of Ruan Pienaar at Ulster Rugby. Far from stunting home grown talent, Ruan's time at Ulster Rugby has enhanced the skills and game management of our up and coming players, he is an example to all aspiring young professionals in his conduct both on and off the field.
Ruan Pienaar is currently the pivotal player in the Ulster Rugby team and his enforced departure will weaken the strength of the team and the potential for any further improvement in performance. Especially in the short term this decision may result in possibly disastrous consequences for Ulster Rugby, but the alternative could benefit Ulster & Irish Rugby for seasons to come.
The man has become as much of an Ulsterman as I am, and wants to remain as one, & should be allowed to.
