Continued support for the healing of residential school survivors

Our grandparents and parents are not the only ones whom have suffered from the effects. As a third generation survivor of post residential school effects. I was not taught my culture or history, to be able to fully understand the effects that were put upon my people. Now that I am older I see the devastating effects of how our future generations have lost their identity. I no longer see proud first nations people. I see first nations finally taking the steps to heal and reclaim what was supposed to have been in the first place. STRONG, INDEPENDENT, PROUD, HONORABLE,OUTSPOKEN FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE. Our future generations are the ones who are finally being loud and proud of who they are strong First Nations Peoples.
