Stephen Harper and the Conservative government of Canada have directly violated the Canadian Charter of rights and freedoms Section 25, which states:

"25. The guarantee in this Charter of certain rights and freedoms shall not be construed as to abrogate or derogate from any aboriginal, treaty or other rights or freedoms that pertain to the aboriginal peoples of Canada including
(a) any rights or freedoms that have been recognized by the Royal Proclamation of October 7, 1763; and
(b) any rights or freedoms that now exist by way of land claims agreements or may be so acquired."

This government deserves a vote of NON-CONFIDENCE from Parliament and should be replaced ASAP. Which group will have their RIGHTS taken away next?

Please sign this petition and share it. Whether you agree with Treaty rights or not, The fact of the matter is that OUR Canadian Charter has been violated by our government. This is illegal  and we cannot let the government be above the law.

Letter to
Stephen Harper and the Conservative government of Canada
The Harper government has violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. If the government can violate the charter so blatantly right now, then surely they can do it again. This is illegal. The government CANNOT pick and choose what to obey in our charter. Stephen Harper is not above the law.

Stephen Harper does not respect OUR Charter of rights and freedoms and must be dismissed from his post as Prime Minister for failing to uphold the rights of ALL Canadians.

Please remember this is not only for Native Canadians, but all Canadians regardless of race or cultural background. We must stand together to make sure our laws are upheld.

A united Canada, together as one voice - to uphold the integrity of our country.
