According to Mahony, H., there is a law in the UK that helps prevent the discrimination with disabled people in their workplace which is called "The Equality Act of 2010". Unfortunately, this law is not very well implemented because still. many people with special needs are not treated fairly when it comes to their workplace. Some of the reasons that supports the statement "People with special needs are not treated fairly when it comes to their workplace.", are as follows: Being able to adjust to work environment, the ability to comply with job’s description, and fear of being liable for the individual/employees mistakes because they are people with special needs. Fortunately, there are ways on how to treat people with special needs in proportion with people who are not disabled such as, being brave in taking the stand of PWDs in applying for jobs in the corporate world.
