Support Kids First Research Act 2.0

Did you know that only 4% of funding for cancer research is devoted to fighting pediatric cancer as opposed to 96% for cancers primarily affecting adults? Every day, 28 children are diagnosed with cancer, and nearly 1,200 will die this year as a result.
Our most vulnerable population is being ignored when it comes to fighting back against cancer. The Kids First Research Act 2.0 aims to help combat this discrepancy, redirecting $320 million dollars to the National Institutes of Health to go towards research for pediatric cancer and other diseases affecting children.
The funding would be taken from the largely unused Presidential Election Campaign Fund, which nearly every major presidential candidate since 2008 has neglected to use. With the additional funding, the NIH would be able to advance already promising research efforts directed specifically toward pediatric cancer.
Help us get this common sense bill, currently stuck in committee in the U.S. House of Representatives, passed, and help provide kids the hope they deserve.
