At the moment, students at Newington College are forced to stay in their grays uniform unless they have PE/sport over the next two periods. If they are caught not following this rule they can receive a detention. This can be a problem for some students. For example, they could have PE in period 1 or 2 and then sport in the afternoon. This means they have to get changed up to 4 times in one day! This is a problem because it wastes students recess and lunchtime. It can also make students late to class and of course it means the change rooms are extremely crowded. We believe students should be allowed to stay in their PE uniform and the rules around PE uniform in general should be eased. Sign and share the petition if you agree!
