Many students at SUNY Delhi have complained of being harassed by campus police. On October 27, 2017 3 students were harassed prior to attending a campus event. When they arrived at the event and were allowed in, campus officers recognized them and began to harass and eventually kicked them out. As they were trying to leave peacefully, officers proceeded to physically and verbally attack them, arresting 3 and using excessive force. Video evidence of the misconduct is circling around social media and the school campus. School authorities have also seen the video but still proceeded to arrest and charge them. These three students also had to pay bail to get out of jail and overall, feel victimized by the experience.
