The amount of inmate abuse by guards is on the rise and it often gets swept under the rug because most family members of the abused inmate does not know how to navigate through the prison system. As parents of an inmate that has been abused we don’t take this lightly and it has to be stopped by any means necessary. If you have a loved one that is in the prison system that has suffered injuries at the hand of the prison guards, please support or efforts to end inmate abuse . Although they may have committed some sort of offense to land them in the prison system it does not mean they should be abused at the hands of the guards who are there to help them and maintain their safety.
