Robert T. Sams murdered my father on November 14th, 2009. This is his second murder and came only 17 months after his parole release from the prison for the first murder. Although he admitted to shooting and killing my father, he was allowed to plea for manslaughter and be given a 20 year sentence. He will be eligible for parole in 40 years. I will never see my father again. The images that I have permenantly in my mind of my fathers body dumped along the street, wrapped in a sheet will never go away. I don't feel that the proper message to send to my family is that we can lose someone forever, but the person that took them away deserves a THIRD chance. Please help me make sure that he can never hurt anyone else.
