On December 6th, 2019, there was a almost life taking accident on Ohio river Blvd (Rt 65) right in front of the Shell Gas Station (Pit Stop Express). This petition is created for the safety of the pedestrians and drivers of the area. There needs to be a arrow light turning left into the Shell and McDonalds parking lot. Bellevue police station did put cameras on top of the poles at the intersection BUT what good does that do, they aren't solving the problem! The problem lies with the drivers that want to make a left hand turn into the Shell and McDonalds parking lot thinking they can make it, but the people who are going into Pittsburgh go to fast which causes an accident but it's the person's fault who is making a LEFT HAND TURN. This change will be great for the community because more lives will be saved as well as LESS accidents! So please stand by me on making this change!
