Wild horses are an integral part of the ecosystem of the rangelands of the United States and the State of Nevada. Bill SJR1, introduced January 10, 2013, by Senator Mark Manendo (Las Vegas) discusses briefly the history of the wild horses and burros, their contribution to our history, and introduces a concept in which eco-sanctuaries can be built in the State of Nevada to allow the wild horses and burros to survive in their natural environment, allow people to view and photograph the wild horses and burros, as well as provide a much needed boost to the Nevada economy. The link to the Bill as introduced can be found at the end of this message. Please...we owe this to these magnificent animals who have been through so much. Thank you!
