We are creating this petition with the intention to lower the Nevada Radiology State License fee for all radiology techs whose work involves radiation. The state of Nevada is charging $200 every 2 years to imaging techs that work in radiology. $200 is way too much for a newly state license. They just started this state license at the end of 2019. Radiology techs have to pay for their National license through the ARRT, which is only $30 per year ($60 every 2 years). Other states like Hawaii, charge $60 for their radiology state license every 2 years. Nurses Nevada state license is only $50 each year ($100 every 2 years). So why is the radiation state license in Nevada so much? We are not opposed to a radiation state license, we want the cost to be lowered down to a reasonable amount.
