Mondo and Ed have spent forty years in prison for a crime they did not commit. As former Nebraska governor, Frank Morrison, has said, "They were framed." It is time to set them free.

How long will convictions obtained under a system of injustice, with clearly prejudiced juries and a racially charged climate, be allowed to stand?

Innocent or not, 40 years is more than enough... assuming they should ever have been interned.

To call for justice in this case; and to be aware of the warning in the statement of one of this countries founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson: " I tremble for my country when I reflect God is just; His justice cannot sleep forever." The US parade itself as a champion of justice around the world. This becomes so much a facade when juxtaposition to how unjust and repressive it is to prison conditions, torture, mass incarcerations (particularly of people of color); and the reality and continued incarceration of political prisoners such as Mondo and Ed.

They are political prisoners, innocent of any crime. Illegal USA politically repressive governmental operations need to be overturned and internationally exposed as a matter of justice and human rights.
