Not to take bio MCAS Bristol Plymouth class of 2025
Our biology teacher has been out since September and is now on medical leave due to side effects of covid. No one has any information as to when she is going to be able to return to school. We have not learned anything since September and are now expected to pass MCAS. We feel that we should be exempt from the Biology MCAS this year, as we do not feel as though we have had the sufficient preparation for this type of testing. If we pass the Biology MCAS this year we would not be required to take it again. We as a class of 2025 feel that we should not have to take the MCAS because of our situation. We all feel extremely overwhelmed that we will not pass the MCAS and will have to continue taking the MCAS test every year. We feel as though this will impact our chances to graduate, as you need to pass Biology MCAS in order to do so.
