Gary Howard started this petition to State of Illinois District 15 Rep. John D'Amico

"Rainwater can be used to conserve water throughout the entire State. Rainwater can be used to flush urinals, water closets, trap primers for floor drains and floor sinks, lawn and garden irrigation, water features, boiler makeup water, cooling towers, industrial processing. All of the above shall be installed by a skilled licensed Plumber trained in the proper way to install piping without harming the community. This shall include the construction, repair, alteration, installation of a rainwater catchment system. The proper place for rainwater catchment is in the State of Illinois Plumbing Code, and the State of Illinois License Law. What we propose is the adoption of the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials Green Plumbing & Mechanical Code Supplement For use with all codes."
