Deregulate Delaware Drive On Beaches

Deregulate Delaware Drive On Beaches
February 1 was an embarrassment to the State of Delaware. One of the main staples in the state of Delaware, now more than ever, is it’s Drive On Beaches in the State Parks. However, in just a few short years the heavy increase in regulation from DNREC has severely limited the access to these beaches to Delaware residents and those of neighboring states. Heavy policing to limit miles of coastline to ONLY be available to “surf fishers” and now the limit of tags selling out in mere HOURS should not be acceptable or tolerated by Delawareans. We should not have to wait hours in a line or suffering through a crashing website to enjoy our state beaches. Please join me in demanding state representatives deregulate the drive on beaches and lift the tag limit and surf fishing requirements.
