With the political events of the last 4 years, or 20 depending on who is counting, I feel that the continual selection of the same small group of special interest driven politicians for all levels of government has cemented the fact that our country has successfully established a ruling class, and a working class. I would like to see public office be an actual civic duty, similar to jury duty. All eligible voters are put into the pool, if selected they serve 2 years at a salary of $90,000 a year, plus a housing allowance.  After serving office at any level you can choose to be exempt for 10 years, or you can be immediately eligible for another office.  The only elected official will be the Potus/Vpotus on separate tickets. To run for that office you must have served at some level prior. You can only serve at state level and federal level for a max of 6 years, President not included, that will stick with the current constitutional rules. This eliminates the growth, rapid advancement, and placement of corrupt officials. It will also help destroy the 2 party system that has continually let the American people down, year after year. It will also help the country set and uphold common sense laws, since it will be truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.
