This petition is for the state government to declare the 2021/22 summer Victorian school holidays extended to the end of February. 
This would support regional Victorian communities hard hit by Covid lockdowns with a longer high season. Additionally, families separated by lockdown could use the extra month’s holiday to reconnect with each other. Children and adults are tired and the month could serve to restore the spirit of Victorians who have been doing it hard for over 18 months.

The prospect of an extended summer holiday would lift the spirits of all Victorians while we are working towards 80+ % vaccination rate in the coming months. 
We have had 200+ days of lockdown, what about being let loose for the extra 28 days of Feb??
