In Bangaluru and perhaps other cities as well, government has installed water purifier machines The cost of water at these points is minimal and easily affordable by the common masses. These water purifier/RO machines, however, waste a lot of water, which can be used for different purposes e.g. construction,washing etc and can be given at very cheap rates to nearby societies . I tried to tell the folks who are maintaining these places but they did not agree ( hardly paid a heed) because of lack of awareness. I request government to spread the awareness at these water dispensing points and allow the use of water - wasted/discarded by RO machines for toilet and household washing needs.
