STOP FIRES - FireWatch - early fire detection to be implemented across Australia

In 2010 following the devastating Victorian bush-fires, two humanitarian and intelligent men, Australian engineer David Goodrich and entrepreneur Dr Peter Neustadt conducted successful trials of FireWatch, a state of the art early bushfire warning system, in Victoria and New South Wales.

Despite the logic of using FireWatch, short-sightedness and narrow mindedness has prevented the funding of further Stage 2 Trials.  Please lobby as many people as you can & raise this issue with friends and family.  We have technology developed by the German Aerospace Agency for exploring Mars during the NASA Pathfinder mission, at our disposal.

Enough is enough, it's not about competing or about who is better than who.  FireWatch is about  SAVING LIVES ( animals included also ) AND PROPERTY.

Hi-tech early detection system could minimise bushfire threat

We call upon you to put Lives first and given the nature of the Australian landscape, to put common sense to use and to target funding for Stage 2 of the FireWatch Trials, and further implementation of this system for the reasons stated on the FireWatch official website.

Why FireWatch?  -  click here

We have hotspots picked up by satellite and simulation systems, but Australia needs real world sensing of initial bush-fire events, and the German developed NASA used FireWatch technology lets such info be relayed within 6 minutes to the control centre, so the response can be the quickest it can be.  Please understand that the FireWatch system is not put forward as a "panacea" or a cure - all, but we believe our Governments should be putting 150% into preventing fires through fuel reduction AND through FireWatch.
