Petitioning Premier of Queensland Annastacia Palaszczuk

Build a pipeline of water from Innisfail/Tully region to Longreach region to assist the farmers in drought.

Farmers have been affected by a 3 year drought in Western and Outback Queensland, stock are dying from lack of feed, feed can not be grown without water, rural communities are suffering, visitors are not going to the region so tourism is also being affected, wild life are suffering and dying. This can be changed with a pipeline bringing rainwater down from Innisfail/Tully region instead of it going into the ocean.  Families are falling apart due to stress and financial problems and having to be separated. It has been done in other states such as South Australia so lets get it done in Queensland, 3 pumping stations and water goes where it is needed, lets change this and get some help for the Queensland farmers and fix the drought. Please sign to make a difference and support our farmers.
