MCG Election - Independents must refrain to extend support on moral ground and work on CMP

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

In the Sunday Municipal Elections independents have won 21 out of the 35 seats with the ruling party had to settle with just 13 seats.

Now the ruling party issued a pubic statement that those who stood as independents sought tickets from them but declined.

And now even after their win over the ruling party candidate they are going to support the ruing party.

This if it happens would be an act of distrust with the public of Gurgaon who have voted for such persons as independents and not as a representative of any party.

In all fairness such independents therefore should not unconditionally support any party and rather only should take oath to work on a Common Minimum Programme (CMP) to watch interests of one and every independent's ward population and agenda.
