I got assulted by a man and because I didn’t say anything because I was in shock he got to be let go freely . The police told me when I was 9 and I had got raped . That I did good by not saying anything it saved my life , so I always stood by that and never said anything in situations like this , the police completely ignored that and said why would I even put my self in the situation? . I am in no shape or form the reason that this has happened to me the male was obviously not safe he was hugging me , touching me , telling me he killed someone . I was obviously very scared with the comments the male had been making and I told the police officer that but because I didn’t tell him move and because I hadn’t said no he got let free the police seen I was in distress he seen i was upset he said he had been getting complaints about the male all day and he hadn’t done anything . It’s not ok ever to just push away a victims scarce he drove the man up the street after showing him where I had lived I don’t feel she if the environment I was put in , I was obviously scared and crying makeup down my face & the police put it all aside ? This man is grown and you had been having problems with him and your telling me your just gonna let him go? Now I can’t stop crying or thinking about what this mans gonna do to someone else or if he’s gonna come back .
