Petition update

Borough Council Meeting Tomorrow

J Briggs
State College, PA

Apr 1, 2013 — Thank you all for supporting the protest against the Penn State Pipeline. Together, we've sent a strong message to the Borough Council that they need to take action to stop the pipeline. Fortunately, the State College Borough voted in a Community Bill of Rights. We intend to make our elected officials enforce the law and uphold our rights to safety and sustainability.

Residents and other concerned citizens will attend a Borough Council meeting tomorrow to deliver the petition and its message in person. If you are local, please join with us in standing up for our community. Signups for speaking will be in the lobby beginning at 6:30 pm and the meeting will begin at 7:30 pm. If you can't attend the council meeting, please stay up to date with us via Facebook: STOP the Penn State Pipeline.

The Penn State pipeline issue resonates across the nation. We appreciate your active affirmation that community comes before corporate interests.
