Stronger Penalties for Criminal Activities. In Particular Juvenile criminals.

Juvenile Criminal Activity has skyrocketed in recent years. Criminals are receiving more and more lenient sentences. The Constituents of Queensland request that legislation is changed to allow Magistrates to incarcerate criminals to ensure that the Queensland Police Force is not chasing their tail by recapturing offenders. The current system is no more than a slap on the wrist for offenders. It has been reported in the past that these Juvenile Criminals are stealing cars, showing up to court in said stolen cars, and then driving away in same said car. Enough is Enough. Our Court system as it stands now is a joke and the co signed people demand action. In the recent Queensland State Election, not one party had a legitimate Criminal Code of Conduct revision to fix the current inadequacies. Having had my vehicle stolen a number of years ago, being accused of fraud by my insurance company and then, 3 yrs later having the police ring me, tell me they had the offender who was a minor in custody and that I myself could not press charges and had no financial comeback and, that it is a common occurrence for Juveniles to hand themselves in before they turn Legal age so that their record is clean for Adult hood is disgusting. It is time to bring Queensland to the fore again by instigating these changes.
