Summer continues to be shortened for kids and adults. Kids need a full summer break in order to come back to school reinvigorated and ready to go, not coming to a hot classroom in the middle of August.   Making summers shorter and shorter is bad for the economy. Kids are having to return back to school so early that summer  businesses are losing money and shutting down.   Kids are not learning in August. Instead teachers are trying to find ways to keep kids from overheating and kids are distracted as it is still summer!
