Hi, my name is Brianna Peterson and I'm 18. I am a resident of Las Vegas, but I fear that I and everyone living here will be forced to leave in a couple years.

Lake Mead, Nevada's only source of water, will soon be gone. In Nevada, we successfully reuse most of our water. But the states that share in Lake Mead's water --California, Arizona and Mexico-- have no plans in place to lessen their water use. 

I ask that these states do what Nevada did years ago and start water reclamation programs. In reality, all states should do the same.

Please make this a top priority. Right now, it may seem like this is only Nevada's problem. But, soon enough it will become everybody's problem whether we act or not. All states should act now so we can all be more prepared for when that time comes.
