New River Community College houses many successful programs. Our nursing program fills hospitals and nursing homes, our criminal justice program puts criminals behind bars, and our industrial program teaches niche and important skills to future employees in a thriving economies. Students and teachers commute nearly an hour on average to receive and extend a proper education, but in order to do that, they need fuel!

Our request is simple: Open a Starbucks in Dublin, Virginia and enjoy the profits and lifted spirits of those who, for a fact, love Starbucks products. This should not be a difficult objective: there is already three industrial centers (Volvo, Korona Candles, and Phoenix Packaging) and the New River Community College that brings people in mass to the area. Younger people (as well as teachers) from Pulaski County High School would love to be within 5 miles of a business.

There are many, many Starbucks already established in the towns around us: Christiansburg has 4, Blacksburg has 4, and even Radford has 1 their university campus. So why isn't there one in Dublin? Everyone loves coffee! By signing this petition, you also agree that Starbucks is very much needed in this fine town of ours.
