The people of Madagascar are starving. They are suffering from 40 years of drought and over farming. These corporations have direct ties or profit from the Madagascar vanilla bean, and palm oil industries. If these corporations can profit off the labor and farm land of local Madagasy when times are good, then they can more than afford to help when the climate change they helped cause ravages their country.

Men, women, and children are dying of starvation daily. 14,000 people are in critical danger of starvation today. Please watch the video above and if you feel the same as I do, that this can not happen, that we have a moral contract as human beings to help everyone not die of starvation and thirst then please sign this petition.

The World Food Program said it urgently needs $USD 74 million over the next six months to offset the impact and the risk of famine in Madagascar, as the 2021 harvest of crops is expected to be less than half the five-year average. The agency also predicted that the lean season is likely to be prolonged and severe, starting in October 2021.

Starbucks, Walmart, McCormicks, etc all have recorded record profits year after year with no lean season in sight for them. $74 million could be a down-payment for doing business in the world today, because if we refuse to help these people then we are all in danger.
