For almost five decades, Patrick Buchanan has made a career of racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic, misogynistic and inflammatory comments that have caused irreparable damage to the political discourse in this country. For inexplicable reasons, he continues to find media platforms for his malignant philosophies, including as a regular panelist on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”, presented by Starbucks. MSNBC encourages its viewers to “Lean Forward", which makes their continued employment of Buchanan hypocritical and willfully neglectful of their purported mission. We are asking Starbucks to reconsider their sponsorship of “Morning Joe” until MSNBC agrees to no longer provide Mr. Buchanan with an outlet for his toxic, archaic viewpoints.
