We demand the JNU Vice Chancellor Step Down

Save JNU, save education.

Dear supporters, Thank you so much for your immense support. Unfortunately, 6 days have passed since violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University and yet no arrests have been made so far in the case. On 9 January, JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh, who suffered severe injuries during the January 5 JNU attack, led a protest in Mandi House.  She along with other protestors appealed to the Human Resources Development (HRD) ministry to remove the JNU VC. They told us we will have a dialogue by 10th Jan. The HRD ministry is still thinking about whether VC should be removed. "We're in no position to compromise with HRD ministry. It's still thinking whether VC should be removed," Aishe Ghosh. I want to assure you all that we students will not rest until we make sure that the JNU Vice-Chancellor resigns or the government removes him! Those who are trying to malign and destroy universities must never succeed. Share this petition with 5 of your friends, let's keep the momentum going so that the people in power have to take notice and do something. Yours truly,Farhana
