Ensure travel companies have defibrillators/medical staff available on every holiday
This petition had 443 supporters
On the 26th April 2016 my father, Steven Bragg, 51, passed away due to a cardiac arrest whilst in bed on a Thomson holiday to Spain. In the hotel they had no defibrillators and no trained medical staff to offer any sort of help to my father.
My petition is to ensure that all travel companies selling holidays to U.K. customers will ensure all hotels and travel excursions have defibrillators and medical staff available, and all medical staff have up to date, sufficient training.
My family and I will never know if a defibrillator could have saved my father but making this change could help other families from feeling the way my family and I do each and every day. Please sign the petition to put pressure onto these companies. They are making millions of pounds yet cannot ensure that a simple, affordable piece of life saving equipment is accessible. Sign the petition and help to save lives!
