Ensure Fife Council make ethical choices in their investment portfolio.

Following some Freedom Of Information requests, it has become clear that Fife Council appear to have no regard as to how or where they invest the monies collected from the good people of Fife.

They currently invest in major arms dealers, and no matter how you look at it, any investment in these firms helps to prolong the agonies and tortures of war around the globe. More to the point do these companies need further investment? They are already among the largest conglomerates in the world.

Fife Council also invest in other multi-national companies with a record of poor working practices, Amazon springs immediately to mind, and this doesn't sit well with the historical work ethic in the Kingdom. This is also (despite being a local employer) a company with a long history of tax avoidance and from my point of view none of this is acceptable.

There are many other opportunities for investment around the world and Fife Council must look to change their existing portfolio to something much more ethical and far less morally ambiguous.
