As parents, grandparents and citizens of Richland County we must allow parents to make their own decisions regarding the face mask mandate in K-12 public schools regardless of what we think of their decisions. As citizens, we must advocate for our students rights. Making students/parents choose between wearing a mask or alternate forms of education is a violation of our rights.  You do not have to be a student or parent, this petition is for you too.
