On July 30, 2022 sometime after 4pm Kevin Hargraves-Shird was chased and MURDERED by 4th District Police. This incident took place shortly after an exchange of gunfire between a vehicle & pedestrians on foot on Georgia Ave & Longfellow. The vehicles of interest were two Sedan’s of black & green color. Kevin’s WHITE VEHICLE was NOT one of interest. Kevin was targeted by officers that are familiar with him! Kevin was chased and fatally shot. The mayor has yet to speak out on this incident! The family has requested body cam footage, an autopsy, the office involved name and information in general, the family has yet to receive this information as of yet! 

Kevin leaves behind three beautiful children.
