Recent troubles in Cameroon have forced people to flee their homes. Innocent people are being killed. At the moment there are only 2 voices addressing the issue: the political voice and the military voice. 

"We Stand For Peace" is the third voice, calling out for peace by raising the issue. Artists and influencers in Cameroon and around the globe are recording music to encourage peace and spread the peace message through culture. Together, we stand up for dialogue and a peaceful solution to the trouble.

By spreading the message and encouraging peace, we aim at influencing leaders to sit down and talk to find a peaceful solution to the problems. We also aim at having an impact on people in Cameroon by showing an international support and encouraging people to stand up for peace and not to be intimidated by violent threats. 

Armed groups are currently spreading fear in Cameroon and threatening to kill people who vote during the upcoming elections in October. The collective initiative "We Stand For Peace" do not support non-democratic violence. We stand for a peaceful solution.
