Students go through a lot through their time at high school. With homework, sports, and extra curricular activities (as well as balancing a social and home life) there is a lot of stress and fatigue as a result of that.     Many students stay up late doing assignments and then wake up to an alarm at 5-6 am the next morning. This needs to be changed.    If school started later, such as 9:25am instead of 7:25am, there wouldn’t be as many students tired and moody.     Teachers would also benefit from this for the same reasoning, and also wouldn’t have to complain about their students falling asleep in class.       Let’s change the time that school starts for public high schools in Stamford to benefit us all!
