Physical sign at Lydden, Husk Bus Stop

Physical sign at Lydden, Husk Bus Stop
Why this petition matters
I have worked at Husk for nearly a year now and I regularly use these bus stops to travel to and from work, as do some of my colleagues. We are all becoming increasingly aware of how unsafe it is to board and alight your services at these bus stops, the main issue being the lack of signage to even show that there is a bus stop at these locations.
There have been multiple occasions over the last year where busses have failed to stop at the bus stop, both towards Canterbury and towards Dover, simply because drivers are not aware that it is even a bus stop. This has resulted in many occasions where myself and colleagues have been late to work, or sometimes the bus driver realises where we intended to get off the bus and instead stops just on the junction joining the A2 towards Canterbury and we have had to walk back to where we meant to get off in very dangerous conditions.
There have been times we have been forced to call a taxi so we can get home after work because the bus has failed to stop so we can board, again because drivers are not aware there is even a bus stop.
Our concern for our safety is only growing stronger as we get closer to the dark winter months when visibility is reduced, especially since there are no street lights on either road.
Essentially, we are asking for a physical bus stop sign to be put at both bus stops at Lydden Husk, Dover.
Not only would this allow bus drivers to know where to stop when we need to board and alight the bus, but it would also mean that other road users are aware that busses may slow down and stop in that area and people may be standing at the side of the road.
Something so simple would enable my colleagues and myself to travel to and from work much more safely and confidently.
