**School bus for high school kids!!**

I’m currently in the process of getting bus passes for the high school kids of the cheadle academy and painsley as I’m aware they currently have to pay to get there and back every day as they walk. I’ve had to reapply for a bus pass for my daughter who attends the cheadle academy due to us moving to tean from kingsley and it was rejected due to her living within the 3 mile radius and that there is a pavement along cheadle road for students to use, I’ve appealed against this decision as I feel cheadle road isn’t safe enough for pedestrians and I for one do not want my child walking along that road when in the winter when it’s cold wet and snowy and when there are large heavy goods lorries and buses that fly through this road at a high speed.

I am currently in the process of my appeal being looked into but I wanted to see if any other parents feel the same about this issue and if so would they mind backing me in my fight for the right for these kids to safely get to high school. This is a Safe guarding issue and I feel something needs to be done.
